Am sitting here alone in my office as all of my colleagues are on annual leave.  The aircon died about 3 days ago so I have all the other units in our space on full blast to try and cool my area down!

I’ve ticked off a few things this morning and am getting ready to clean my desk ready for the new year all whilst Buble is blaring from my iphone.  *There may even be some singing!*

Although I’ll confess, I’m feeling a little conflicted listening to this whilst it’s 36C outside!

And you know, because it’s Christmas – let’s go with the original!

And once I’ve finished carolling the heck out of his Christmas Album, I’ll give Ellen’s Favourites a whirl and it’ll be time to head over to a different part of the building for our annual Christmas lunch with those staff that are left holding the fort (like me) before we all head off for Christmas.  The highlight? Our General Manager buys magnum ice creams every year and it’s become a bit of an annual tradition that he contributes this to our lunch!

The hubby has called me a handful of times as he rushes around doing last minute chores and pack the camper trailer and I’ve got a few things left to do when I get home, but come sunset, I’ll be making sure I have a G&T in my hand and my feet up as we wait for the fat man to arrive. Bring it on!
