Moral of the story

So, this happened today:

A message from my Cousin-in-law – another Mrs Benno would you believe! So the moral of this story is that if you don’t want people to know that you have a blog, then you shouldn’t discuss said blog in public facebook comments because you never know who will see it.

In all honesty, I didn’t realise that comments I post on other Facebook pages/groups came up on my friends FB feeds so visibly.  Now I know.  But I’m actually ok with people knowing about this blog.  Whether or not it’s simply because I know that building a blogging empire isn’t what I’m trying to achieve or whether I’m simply sitting a little more comfortably with the fact that writing is something that I want to invest more time into doing, I’m not quite sure.

But I was given some sound advice from Mrs Benno (MkI) this afternoon:12167187_10154406027756808_531946608_n So I’m gonna roll with that!  So, welcome Sher 🙂

Do you have a secret that you tried to keep but people found out? Have you learnt anything else about Facebook and who can see what that I should know about??

  1. I felt exactly the same about people finding out I blogged. I was nervous of what they would think but now I embrace it. Knowing that my friends read my blog makes me strive for better writing quality. On the flip side it has make me think twice about some post subjects x

    1. Glad that it’s not just me!! I agree about thinking twice, I’ve been very mindful of that with some of the work drama that’s been happening. You never know when a colleague or worse a manager might stumble across my ramblings so I don’t want to be that blog that airs all her dirty laundry!!
