Don’t you just love spring! That moment as you walk out side and feel the warmth of the sun and the scent in the air is just one of the most energising feelings.  Especially where I live.  We live in a region where we get bitterly cold desert winters and scorching hot summers.  And as a born and bred Queenslander, hot is just how I like it!  Thankfully, our warm weather starts about now and if the weatherman is correct, we could be hitting a top of 30 degrees this weekend!

I can’t wait to shed the winter clothes (and kilos, but that’s a whole other post!) and get out into the warmth.  To take the girls to the park and the new waterplay area down by the river. To see all the new leaves and blossoms sprout on the trees and to smell all the freshly cut grass that will no doubt be a novelty for a few weeks, but will turn into annoyance as the hubby will be MIA tending to lawns to keep up with the spring growth every single weekend.  But hey, for now I’ll indulge in the positives!
