So, I finished the day inspired and motivated having heard some thought provoking points of view. And with enthusiasm to write and wax lyrical about all I've learnt today, I returned home to find a sick household and within the hour, I too have crashed. Nasty fast moving bug.Let's hope it's only a 24 hour one.

I am a writer… right?
I think it's becoming blatantly obvious that I've lost my way a little here since I returned to work. I'm pretty sure that the last two weeks worth of posts would attest to that. So in amongst the banality of running a household, sneaking some time with my girls and the endless piles of work that just …
Friends like these
There are some pretty special ladies in my life that just seem to know when I need a friendly ear, a good meal and some TLC. Those that are observant enough to see what's been happening over the past couple of weeks have been and made the call to simply pop on over with a …
Where do the days go?

Love is picking all the seeds from his strawberries
Today we celebrated the wedding of one of the hubby's cousins in one of the most beautiful and heartfelt wedding I've been to in a while. And whilst the evening ends with us sitting in Maccas on the way home, the highlight for me was hearing how the bride picks out all of the seeds from …

Are we there yet?
This weekend we are in Melbourne for a family wedding. Knowing that it would be a big ask to get time off today given I've only been back a week we sent the girls with the in-laws so that they go during the day and still get a good nights sleep. I was hoping to get …
