Am I brave enough?

I feel as though this past week has been a series of signs and guideposts challenging me to think differently and consider all possibilities.

But sometimes it is hard to see what’s right in front of you.

Whilst I have been able to identify that I’m at a crossroads; a junction of pathways to a plethora of opportunities and growth, there are still some hurdles to jump before I will know which way I should go… And even then I’m not sure if I’m going to get it right!  After all, it’s not just about me anymore.

In several weeks time, the uncertainty will be laid to rest.  Until today I believed my options to be limited at best. This made me feel vulnerable which is not a state of normal being for me. But today I went out and created more opportunities for myself. And I’m feeling more confident in my abilities to make the right choices… I think.  Hey, I did say more, not 100%!!

A beautiful friend of mine recently bought for me Lisa Messenger’s book, Daring and Disruptive.  Her inscription was a much needed boost.  This post could go in so many directions tonight, but I have other matters to tend to this evening; future creating, opportunity inducing matters, so I’ll leave it at this.

I truly believe that those who do great things in life, took an unexpected risk and found a pathway that probably wasn’t apparent to them at the time.  My gut is telling me that this is one of those times but I’m not sure I’m brave enough.  Not sure that I’m daring and disruptive enough…

Even when others are telling me that I am.

How do you work through the decision making that needs to occur at a crossroad moment in your life? If you’ve got it figured out, can you give me a tip… please??

  1. You are brave and following the path of your heart with courageous action – daily. I think it is fantastic that you are committed to your craft and your dream. Congratulations X

I came across this great quote yesterday by Joseph Campbell – responsible for ‘the hero’s journey’

‘When you follow your bliss, doors will open where there were no doors before and where there are no doors for anyone else’

  2. You will never know until you try, is what I think! I think we are living in a time when people just go for it. There is so much opportunity out there for us to take and if you think you are at the point, then be brave and give it a go 🙂 Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday
