It was a rare treat to have the hubby home to take on the bulk of the parental duties this evening, and the opportunity to escape the office after work and watch the sunset set over the river was too irresistible to refuse.

Scheduled maintenance had dropped the water levels to an astonishing low, but the pelicans didn’t seem to mind; and for the 10 blissful minutes that I sat in silent contemplation, I didn’t mind either.
