I’ve mentioned a couple of times now that I don’t do cold and this last weekend has been freezing.  Getting up this morning after the longest night of the year when the temperature bottomed out at 1 degree was pure torture but it got worse… I had to send the puppies outside into the cold at 6.30am after spending the night in the laundry! That was much was worse… poor George and Penny!

For those reading this from across the seas, you’ll probably laugh when I tell you that our ‘cold snap’ is zero degrees (32 F) but for this Queensland born and bred gal, who grew up with ‘cold’ winters of 14 degrees (58F) as the coldest temp this is a huge difference and I feel every bit of it!!

Thankfully the weather is looking like it’ll be a bit drizzly this week, which pushes the low temp up to a low of about 4 degrees which is marginally better, but I’ll take it where I can get it!

So it’s time to snuggle up on the couch and watch the Reno Rumble grand final followed by the finale of Married at First Sight…. trashy TV come at me!
