It was not a regular habit of hers to drink by herself, let alone on a week day, but the day that she had had warranted such an extreme measure.

So with the kids tucked up in bed, and a cool G&T in hand, she headed out to the front to sit for 10 minutes in solitude and drink away her shitty day.
