The old adage of never waking a sleeping baby immediately sprang to mind as she walked into the bedroom at 6.15am to commence the military operation that was their morning routine.

Even though she knew that her bubba was becoming more and more a little girl with each passing day, there was something about seeing her curled up and sleeping that evoked strong memories of those early newborn days.
